The creative mix of Naren Sewpaul and Glen Thompson seek to tell unsettling stories about our present world, using theatre, film and new technologies as tools for cultural activism. They wrote the script for TXT ME.

World Film Collective
WFC facilitates the teaching of film workshops to empower young people in marginalised communities to tell their stories. WFC provides training in the use of mobile phone for filming and editing software for post-production. WFC shot TXT ME on location at NATA using Nokia 6100 and Nokia N70 cellphones. Microsoft Movie Maker was used for post-production.

New Africa Theatre
NATA is a provider of education and skills training in the performing arts to talented but disadvantaged young adults. NATA is also a producer of both community-based and professional theatre, including Groundswell written by Ian Bruce. Some of the performers in this TXT ME production are graduates from NATA.
